38·23 hours agoI’m totally with you, I would also add that recently meta said that they wanted to add facial recognition to their “smart” glasses.
they said that “We will launch during a dynamic political environment where many civil society groups that we would expect to attack us would have their resources focused on other concerns”

29·24 hours agoI was waiting for this move, it was the final straw. now I’m here, happily writing a comment in the fediverse through blorp (foss).
I think that Patrick posted it. basically the ones against where the conservatives, both left and right where against (even if there were some people inside those parities who voted to continue the scanning)
