The cherry tomatoes are fine for cooking even though they are from morocco so quite a bit away, I am guessing because they are so small and firm they don’t need to harvest too early.

Grocery store tomatoes are waxy, bred for shipping, not taste. In Europe, no one would ship a tomato.
From grocery stores I only buy local tomatoes or cherry tomatoes. The cherry tomatoes are fine for cooking even though they are from morocco so quite a bit away, I am guessing because they are so small and firm they don’t need to harvest too early.
you gotta get homegrown of both.
