I subscribe to the …sublemmies (is there a better tern for this?) That are the main ones for subjects that interest me: Linux, privacy, …and others, I’m sure. But they’re very “high-level.” How do I find the “deep cuts?”

        Ahh-- that’s the program I use. This actually highlights my problem with federation*. It seems like there’s gotta be something between “customize everything” and “customize nothing.”

        • and if I have this struggle, people like my mom will never adopt. My dog is highly motivated to stick w things, and she routinely inspires me to keep trying stuff until I succeed. For many tasks, the benefits aren’t clear upfront, presumably reducing adoption.
