My dad picked up bow and arrow hunting for a few years. He never snagged a deer, but I’m sure he spent a lot of pleasant time smoking weed in the woods with his buddies.

My sister and I were chit chatting about our kids and their milestones, etc. Super normal type of conversation, especially for us since we don’t get along well to begin with and we try to stick to topics that aren’t inflammatory. The topic of what age we were when we started menstruating came up.

She stopped me mid-sentence in order to correct me about what age I was when I started my period. Not her age, she stopped me to correct my own retelling of my own personal history because “she remembered better”.

It was one of the only times I told her to her face that she was being rude.

There’s two modes I’ve found myself in when not masturbating - I’m either purposefully staying aroused and denying an orgasm to heighten sexual tension and pleasure OR I’m not masturbating because life is busy for whatever reason and my libido diminishes over time.

So it depends. And I think everyone is a little different as well, so you might want to play with not masturbating to reduce sexual frustration to see if it works for you.

My partner has severe and persistent bouts of depression. We met on Tinder. Went out on a lot of dates together and had a lot of fun. Been together for about five years now.

We also had a lot of talks about what living with depression means, what kind of support I would or could give, etc. What kind of coping methods they use. I’ve grappled with depression myself here and there so I’m incredibly empathetic when they’re feeling particularly bad. We just support each other.

Depression can look really different and present differently in different people.

Welcome! It definitely is quieter in ways here, but I find that actually engaging in conversation is better. There’s more real people here.

But this place also has the downfalls that early Reddit and 4chan had. Still better than current Reddit by miles!

Sex. Sex is really awesome while high on weed. Especially lazy, exploring each other’s bodies, no time schedule to keep type of sex.

I’ll second Iced Raktajino and say house duties. I love getting a little high and tackling the kitchen or organizing the closets. Or cooking, cooking can be very satisfying while high.

Walks! Going out for a walk is super lovely. Tune in to all the sounds of the trees, animals, neighbors, etc. Take note how the ground feels under your feet and the cool air in your lungs.

Reforming our education system is certainly one prong of a multi-pronged approach to a potential solution.

I just simply cannot sign on for more torture and rape and dehumanization no matter who is on the receiving end.
