This is a great idea imo. As someone who has spent a lot of time volunteering at a shelter you can definitely learn a lot. Especially if they have some actual professionals on staff willing to share their wisdom.
Having a dog on a walk will absolutely increase the likelihood of a stray happening by to approach you though. Not saying that to scare you off or anything, but I think volunteering at the shelter will make you more confident around dogs, hopefully.
I messed around in portainer before and I think possibly OP is referring to their feature where it can watch a git repo and anytime a change occurs, it’ll try to do a pull and recreate the container.
My suggestion would be games with community run servers. They often moderate their own servers, and therefor much less cheating.
Now, my two recommendations might not be for everyone. Arma Reforger and Squad. Squad used to be a solid recommendation from me, but they fucked with the gun handling as well as ruined performance. So it’s a light recommendation.
Arma Reforger is a great time.
You might also check out DayZ. They also have community servers which are moderated, and they’re really good at catching cheaters.
Fair, I guess at that point, it might just not be the kinda game for you. It is grindy by design, the official game, of course, wants you to stay in the game longer so you buy more subscription time.
Idk, I enjoy playing OSRS on occasion, they added sailing as a skill, and honestly it was pretty cool. Having your own boat and being able to freely sail around the entire map. I mostly play for the nostalgia though.
In case you might be interested, there are a handful of private-servers for old school RuneScape. And they usually give you the ability to choose an XP multiplier. 2009scape for instance, gives you a 5x multiplier by default.
They’re not 100% complete recreations, but they add more quests all the time and I believe they have most skills.
Worth checking out imo. You can even download and run your own copy of their server (with some effort), and then you can tweak literally anything (again with effort and knowledge of Java)
Nah, I remember my first car I took it to Best Buy and had them install an Aux cable so I could play music from my phone. Literally never went back to radio. Not to say it’s a bad medium, I just prefer constant music without interruption.
