Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•If you created a simulation that resulted in the creation of countless intelligent beings would it be unethical to end the simulation?
1·9 days agoYou may be referring to the hells, but he had a discussion about having a Mind simulating a particular situation to the point where the participants were basically sentient. In that instance, I do not think it is ethical to end the simulation, but I think it would be ethical to freeze the simulation. If the whole simulation was paused and stored with the potential to be restarted, then no perceivable harm would come to the participants.

Remembering that lots of girls get off with other girls who have no dicks gave me a significant amount of confidence.
I have a bachelor’s in physics, and I spent a year in Tanzania. A college student showed me their physics textbook that was straight text (no graphics at all) in what looked like a notebook, and I swear the whole thing sounded like this. I have no idea how they learn physics in Tanzania.
