I’m pretty much in the same boat. But I do lurk on Reddit sometimes when I’m looking to doomscroll, but I often find that the ads and bots prevent me from enjoying the doomscroll mindlessness.

I thought it’d be funny to share this post, because it looks like some people are becoming fed up with reddit for all the reasons that have been glaringly obvious for years now. Eventhough this is likely a bot post. Which might make it even funnier.

I use NewPipe as my daily driver, but I also have PipePipe istalled for when Google’s bollocks are in twist again and they want to pester the 3rd party apps again. Usuallly one of them if less affected by yhe shenanigans than the other, or else it will be fixed in a couple hours. In the 3 years I’ve been using NewPjpe, the Longest I’ve been without a pipe-app is three days. It only happens once in a while, not more than 3 times a year, I’d guess. And most times it’s fixed within hours or the other app is still working.

It is already clear, since both apps mentioned are specifically for handling sms

I’ve actually advised my company to start advertising on reddit. We’ve been taken over by some umbrella firm and their marketing has screwed everything up. There’s barely any new customers coming in these days. So I advised them to advertise on reddit, since that probably attracts the right crowed.
