Appreciated. The average American would not likely be against you.

You’re doing a good thing by saying yes whenever they ask if you are okay having a student or fellow observe. Especially for those awkward visits, like a rash on your genitals or a colonoscopy. Those are our future doctors!

31·4 days agoThat’s a pretty standard starting price for a decent laptop. Or at least it was a few years ago.

Thanks for sharing! That movie looks very entertaining.
I’ve only seen them in retail parking lots. Cameras. They can play audio.

I would agree until you word it in such a way that implies an entire nation of people wants people to die. That’s very different from a country “pressuring” another country.
It’s important to set achievable goals.
Honestly? We should discourage continued population growth and transition to a sustainable way of living (I especially mean not depending on economic systems which rely on eternal population growth and which focus instead on long-term stability).
In the current real world? You build vertically as much as is reasonably comfortable and expand outwards by investing in public transit and in housing growth outside of city limits. At the same time, start seriously working on point number one.
Controversial opinions for those who have never left the house, watched or listened to media, or conversed with a fellow human.
Are you okay?
They chose to? All of them?
Most people live the life in front of them. Few people live the life of most resistance.
People live in cities because that’s what society demands so that they can be “productive” and not starve to death. Or they’re born there. Or or or…
It’s easy to ignore the realities of others.
Everyone is focusing on the first, but I’d like to focus on the second.
Rape can absolutely be worse than murder. To the survivors who lost their loved one? Maybe not. To the victim? Yeah, sometimes. And if you’re reading this and vehemently disagreeing, take a moment to read about the permanent physical damage that can be done from sexual assault, nevermind even the psychological aspects.
But not just rape. Other forms of torture (yes, rape should be considered a form of torture) can also apply. Ruining someone’s life (say, getting them falsely imprisoned) could also do more harm than murder. It’s all very situationally dependent.
And, of course, there is the rare occasion when killing another person is the best course of action (defense, mostly).

Yep, first had alcohol and pot around fourteen. I don’t think anyone I personally knew had their first drink later than fifteen or sixteen.
