For me it was mostly Dark Souls 2 critique, but I got the feeling other people also disliked his attitude in other videos, at least the game related ones.

This is great, but a new dilemma for me. I’ve been waiting for Steam Machine because I really want the small size and easy moving between TV and desk, compared to normal PCs. (Performance could go either way, I’m plenty satisfied with HD but also do have a 4k TV to use)

But I’m not actually sure precisely HOW small I want my gaming box to be. It seems like this’d be just a bit too clunky for me compared to the cube, but if Valve time pushes SM into 2027 I might just cave in, it still seems more convenient than most desktops I saw.

If it ends up running well on AYN Thor I might finally upgrade from my 3DS, but one of the only videos I saw tried running Hi-Fi Rush and it didn’t launch, all the other examples were indies which I assume are playable anyway.

I for one like both Nintendo and Valve, and the few Nintendo game discussions I read had as much obligatory “Nintendo bad” complaints as every Valve thread has obligatory “Valve bad” comments. I’m finding those complainers more obnoxious even, because at least Nintendo criticism usually sticks to posts already criticising Nintendo.

The irony didn’t occur to me, I got a chuckle out of this.

But to play devil’s advocate for him, the game’s outlandishly sci-fi with “space ninjas”, and the actual players typically don’t chat like gun nuts.

I remember when I was a kid who joined a mostly American guild with Discord server in Warframe.

I was so confused when I wrote the time in 24h and the guy I was chatting with seemed genuinely uncomfortable with me writing in military jargon.

(He also believed in ghosts and I had trouble explaining the difference between additive and multiplicative multipliers to him)

I’ve been using AMD, so I didn’t know if you could pick DLSS version or something. But then again, I never paid attention to whether I could pick between FSR versions, so AMD could force whatever they want too I guess.

To be fair, if DLSS5 is optional (I hope so), they are asking you if you want the condiment.

The condiment is a shitty mayo, and they did take initative (which an average person will mindlessly accept), but they did ask.

I’m stupid, doesn’t DLSS and other upscaling tech usually keep the game-generated pixels? So 1/4 pixels is still there going from HD to 4k?

DLSS5 only keeping 1/20 seems to get ridiculous.
