Still haven’t figured out why anyone would want to block him. About the only thing that I can see people disliking is that he’s anti-lemmy.ml, but I agree with him on that - and either way, that isn’t “spamming”.
Don’t know where did cm0002 appear from, not sure if he’s wearing a cape, even, but all I know is that he’s the hero we need.

Anyone can impersonate anyone here at any time, it is one of the gaping holes in the Threadiverse that keeps content creators with some actual fame from wanting to come here.
On Mastodon, Friendica, Pixelfed and if I’m not mistaken also Bookwyrm you can verify yourself by using your own website (if you have one). You can also do it for free if you have an account on a bunch of services such as Gravatar.
I haven’t seen anything like this on Lemmy fwiw.
