It has to be at least as good as reddit was; easy to join without a lot of fru fru (username, password, maybe email, and that’s it).

Use PieFed if you want to be able to view polls posted to various communities.

There’s even a Polls community on Lemmy.world, but you wouldn’t be able to see or interact with any actual poll posts unless you’re using something that supports viewing it (PieFed, Mbin?, Mastodon, etc).
